Situated in the heart of Walton village on Hadrian's Roman Wall, Greenacres B&B is our family home.

The accommodation comprises of an annex which provides you with your own living room, twin bedroom and compact en-suite bathroom. The patio doors allow access to a table and chairs with a view looking over to the fells of the Lake District. 

Walton village lies on Milecastle 56 on Hadrian’s wall and the village is popular with walkers.  It’s also accessible for cyclists, Reiver Trailers and anyone wanting to experience this beautiful hidden corner of north east Cumbria. We are a 20 minute drive from Carlisle and Gretna. 

An award winning cafe, the Reading Room can be found next door to Greenacres and there is a newly opened micro-brewery in the village which opens at weekends. 

Tea and coffee facilities are included and there is a television in the living room. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room of our own home.

For those walkers who have been caught in the rain we are very happy to dry off your clothes in the dryer at no extra charge. There is secure bike storage for cyclists and parking is available nearby.
